Step 1: Reset the printer
In some cases, removing the ink cartridges and resetting the printer will clear the error message.
Turn on the printer.
Wait till the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
Disconnect the USB cable from the rear of the printer. If your printer contains a network or wireless association, leave it connected.
Remove the ink cartridges from the printer.
With the printer turned on, disconnect the abilitywire from the rear of the printer and from the wall outlet or power strip.
Wait a minimum ofsixty seconds.
Plug the abilitywireinto the wall outlet.
NOTE: power unit recommends connecting the printer electric cordon to a wall outlet.
Reconnect the abilitywire to the rear of the printer.
Turn on the printer, if it doesn’tmechanicallyactivate.
The printer maybear a prolusionamount. The printer lights may flash, and also the carriage may move.
Wait till the prolusionamount finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Reinsert the ink cartridges, and soshut the cartridgeentrance.
If you receive a prompt to print a standardisation page, do so.
If you disconnected the USB cable, reconnect it to the rear of the printer.
Try to print.
If the problem persists, stillsuccessive step.

Step 2: Service the printer
If the previous steps failed to resolve the problem, service the printer.
Service or replace your power unit product if the problem persists whenfinishing all the preceding steps.
