Without turning off the printer, disconnect the USB cable from the rear of it.
Remove the cartridges from the printer.
Wait for the ‘Insert Cartridges’ message to show on the control board.
Disconnect the ability wire from the rear of the printer.
Wait a moment.
Reconnect the ability wire. If the printer doesn’t mechanically activate, press the ability button.
Reinsert the cartridges, then shut any open doors on the printer.
If you receive a prompt to print a standardisation page, do so.
Reconnect the USB cable to the rear of the printer, then strive printing once more.
